On Giving Tuesday, Support the Fight Against Sickle Cell!

The holidays are a special time of the year. It’s a time when we focus on what really matters in life, like spending time with family and friends and making memories that will last a lifetime.

This year, we ask you to do something a little different. After Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday has created an annual moment where giving goes viral. It’s a powerful feeling to know that one minor act of kindness can create a ripple effect that can change someone’s life. November 29th, 2022 is Giving Tuesday and your chance to be the good that you want to see in the world. You can make one small donation that can change someone’s life.

For over 50 years, the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia (SCFG) has committed to Engage, Educate, and Energize our community to support our children and adults suffering with sickle cell. SCFG is the only community-based organization providing sickle cell education, testing, counseling, and transition services throughout the state. Your donation will help us continue to help those in need so they can live well with sickle cell.

The Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia, Inc. was established in 1971 by two Atlanta physicians — Dr. Delutha H. King, Jr. and the late Dr. Nelson McGhee, Jr. The friends organized the Georgia Foundation one year before the national Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, was founded.

On November 29th, #GivingTuesday join the movement! Make gift and make a difference. Be sure to spread the word to keep the momentum going. A little goes a long way. We are asking for your support to help us continue with our programs as we plan for 2023.

Your donation will help us continue to help those in need so they can live well with sickle cell. The Sickle Cell Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and donations are tax-deductible.
